Letter sent to residents on Anstey Road:

As you will be aware work on the above scheme has been progressing over the last few months. The next phase of work is to resurface the road between the Health Centre and Alton Infants School. This is programmed to take place during the week commencing Monday 14th November.

Due to the busy nature of the road it is not feasible to carry out the work during the day or to close the road. The work is therefore programmed to commence at 6:30pm each evening and it is aimed to finish no later than 2:30 am although there may be occasions when work will continue slightly later if problems arise.

The work will inevitably cause some disturbance but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum and I apologise for any inconvenience that will be caused.
