Eastling Parish Council is pleased to announce that the new defibrillator was installed in the telephone box near The Carpenters Arms on 25th April 2026. It is inside a purpose built yellow defibrillator cabinet and is visible from the road. The defibrillator has been registered with the ambulance service via The Circuit so, in the event of a cardiac arrest, anyone calling 999 will be advised of its availability and location.

The Parish Council will look to facilitate some training later in the year and will publicise this through this website, The Good News and Eastling Community WhatsApp. As of 25th April the defibrillator at Manor Lees was decommissioned and is no longer in use.

If anyone has concerns about the new defibrillator or is aware that is has been used or moved, please let Caroline know on 07801702028.

Please note- you do not need training to use the defibrillator as verbal instructions are given when used.
