We welcomed our friends from Wraysbury on a rainy Wednesday afternoon to play 4 teams of Triples. Fortunately the rain stopped as we stepped on the green and it remained dry throughout. It was a very even game from beginning to end with both teams taking the honours on two rinks each (now that’s what I call being very friendly!). Luckily we won overall but just by four shots! No doubt it will be a tough game for us on our return match as it will be played away in August on an outdoor carpet… something very few of us are used to…. and they are!
