Electricity Increase

Letters are coming out to residents with the new electricity unit price 39p kWh.

There is a note on the second page to say Royale received £4,816.35 financial support from the government scheme on commercial electricity which should be passed on.

However, the letter states they won't be passing it on because they say they have been paying 39p kWh and only charging us 34p kWh since October 2022.
The association will look into this and consider if this is correct. We will ask for evidence of what they pay their supplier and also look into the legalities of the way they've decided to do things in relation to pass-through requirements.

It's likely to take several months to get to the bottom of but rest assured we're on it.
