Electricity Overhead Line Works Breach Lane to Church View and Wardwell Lane
Lower Halstow Parish Council
National Grid: electricity overhead line works between Littlebrook, Dartford and Kemsley, Sittingbourne
I hope you’re well and safe during these unprecedented times.
We’ve been in touch previously about the refurbishment work that is planned on our overhead line in your area.
We wanted to update you further to our last email to let you know that the temporary closures of Boxted Lane, Lower Halstow from the junction with Breach Lane to Church View Cottages and Wardwell Lane, Lower Halstow from the junction with School Lane to near the Newington Enterprise Centre are scheduled to take place between 20 July and 16 August 2020. The closure will be clearly signposted along with diversions and affected residents will also receive this update letter.
It’s likely residents will notice some activity while we work. We appreciate that at the moment people are at home and we’ll do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum. We’re aiming to complete our work to the overhead line by the end of 2020 before the areas we’ve been working on are reinstated. Please also be assured there will be no impact on your power supply.
We continue to liaise closely with the Government to ensure we’re following the most updated guidance and that the decisions we’re making are in the best interests of our people and communities throughout this period. If you have any queries about the project, please do not approach our workers on site but contact our community relations team on 0800 319 6188 or email: email@example.com. Our team is available every day from 7am until 7pm.
