Email alerts re the website

Hi all..

I have had a few comments that the email alert that should be sent to anyone who has requested them on the website homepage by clicking the "sign up for email" button is not working.. I have put this to Hugofox who run the website and these are their suggestions

It's more than likely that his email host is pre-blocking the alerts. Have him add team@hugofox.com as a safe sender and contact this should let him receive the alerts.. i.e this is adding a filter...

If using gmail please...... create a filter by clicking the Settings gear > See all settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses > Create a new filter. Type the email address or domain in the "From" field, click Create filter, then check the box "Never send it to Spam".

If using another type of email address (hotmail,icloud etc etc) just search how to add a filter for you specific provider..

They also claim that It is also possible that if trying to pick up email alerts on your iphone they sometimes do not get through so doing the same on your iphone may be beneficial..

Hope that helps... and if you know someone who is suffering from no alerts tell them to log into the website and read this..
