Emails from parish.uk

We have had a number of local businesses contact us with after having received emails from a website called parish.uk.

Parish.uk is a commercial advertising and directory website, not an official parish council or government service. It is run by a private company and offers paid listings, so it should not be treated as having any formal link to a parish council, local authority, or HM Government. There is also a reason to be cautious: a number of parish councils have publicly warned that the site and its emails may give a misleading impression of being official, or are not clear enough that this is simply a paid advertising service.
