The Environment Agency is consulting on a draft environmental permit decision for the Cloughton 2 Wellsite, Burniston. The applicant is Europa Oil and Gas Ltd.

The proposal is for temporary exploratory drilling for natural gas.

The Enviroment Agency is minded to grant the permit. The permit would include legally binding conditions to protect the environment.
