Saturday 26th September brought our season to a close with our Final Drive.

We had record numbers of members participating in Fours and Triples in a Men's v Ladies' Match, with a few questionable ladies in the form of Chris Burgess, Ray Riche and Chris Halliwell. The men won 5 rinks to one but the winner was the event and the fine weather.

A good time was had by all on the green and in the clubhouse afterwards with John and Jeannette who celebrated their 60th anniversary with us, providing a spread and free bar!

We still have the Awards Evening to look forward to before the AGM in November.
