FINALS DAY

Sunday 19th July dawned bright and breezy (thankfully, as the forecast had been terrible), perfect conditions for Finals Day. It was a very busy schedule, starting at 9.30am with the Ladies' Singles and Mixed Doubles Handicap. Crowds gathered as the morning progressed, members arriving with good cheer - and delicious contributions to the glorious buffet lunch.

A full day of wonderful tennis followed, with a number of hard-fought, high quality matches played by our talented Finalists.

CONGRATULATIONS to all our Winners; Commiseratons to Runners-Up.

Special mention and thanks to our Tournament Committee, Gill, Sue and Keith, for the efficient organisation of the Club Championships over the past few months, culminating in an excellent Finals Day, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Roll on next year!
