FINALS WEEKEND 2026

The season is now drawing to a close, but not before the Finals Weekend was held. This took place over the 5th, 6th and 7th September. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed some fabulous competition throughout the weekend. Despite the long hot summer, the green held up remarkably well, thanks to the tremendous effort put in by the Grounds Team. This is a real credit to all those members who have worked tirelessly throughout the season to maintain the green in such challenging conditions. Their dedication, hard work and attention to detail deserve a very special mention andf out sincere thanks. Without their effort, we simply would not have enjoyed such a superb playing surgace for our Finals Weekend. Many members turned out to support the finalists and they were not disappointed by the high standard of play. There were some excellent games and plenty of exciting bowls to enjoy.

Congratualtions to all our winners! Your hard work and efforts throughout the season were well and truly rewarded.
