Following several incidents of wheelie bins being taken onto the recreation ground, on North trade Road, and set alight, along with other criminal damage, Battle Town Council are asking residents and visitors to the town to report anything suspicious to the Police to support CCTV evidence already submitted by the Council.

There have been 2 fires this week and whilst these incidents are potentially very dangerous they also result in Council essential funds having to be diverted to repair/replace damaged buildings and park fittings.
