On a cold evening in Wotton-under-Edge with intermittent showers, somehow Malmesbury, despite losing two of the three rinks, eked out a one-shot victory. Well done to Roy's rink who provided the necessary win and shots. Tim's rink went into the last end 12-13 down and unfortunately could not produce the win, with the home skipper having the last shot, so they lost 12-14. Better luck next time to Ruby and his rink.

The scores were

  • Roy Wilcox won 23-3
  • Ruby Robins lost 8-25
  • Tim Bailey lost 12-14

Overall score Malmesbury won 43-42 so 6-4 in points.

By coincidence, the other two games in Division 2 were both one shot, 6-4 points wins.

Fairford 'B' 42 v Olveston 43 - 4-6

Falcon 53 v Nailsworth Mills 52 - 6-4
