The new floodlights were tested out on Friday 9 April by the committee and some hardy souls.

There are eight units, four on fixed stands at the clubhouse end and four portable units for the far end.

Thank you to all those who contributed their time and money to purchase these units The floodlights will be very useful when the bowls games resume in the summer.

The general verdict was very favourable with some improvement suggestions.

There are limited car parking spaces at the club. If possible, please park in Cross Hayes. It is a short walk from Cross Hayes, down Silver Street, to the club house.
