FLY‑TIPPING – HERON WAY PLAY PARK
Following a reminder issued on 15 April regarding littering at Heron Way Play Park, it is extremely disappointing to report that fly‑tipping has now taken place at the site.
Large items were deliberately dumped within the recreation ground, and one of our Parish Councillors has very kindly given their time to clear this away, which should not have been necessary.
This behaviour is unacceptable. The play park is a valued community facility that has recently been refurbished at significant public expense and is intended to be a safe environment for children and families.
Residents are reminded that fly‑tipping is a criminal offence. Anyone witnessed fly‑tipping will be reported to Medway Council, and enforcement action may be taken, including the issue of fines.
Please dispose of waste responsibly and help protect this shared community space.
