Older residents are invited to Sevenoaks District Council’s ‘Silver Bells’ Christmas parties to kick off the festive season.
The festivities take place from 12noon to 2pm on Thursday 4 December at The Eden Centre in Edenbridge and Thursday 11 December at West Kingsdown Village Hall.
As well as a delicious Christmas buffet, there will be music and games with prizes!
The invitation is open to all residents aged 55 and above who live in the Sevenoaks District together with a carer or family member.
Booking is essential and places are available on a first come, first served basis.
Residents should email communities@sevenoaks.gov.uk to book their spaces stating if they have dietary preferences or requirements.
Alternatively, they can call the Council on 01732 227000.
Cllr Lesley Dyball, Sevenoaks District Council’s Cabinet Member for People and Places, says:
“Our Silver Sunday Christmas Parties are always well attended, great fun, and best of all, free!
“It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with others and celebrate the festive season with a Christmas buffet, games and music, all aimed at our older residents.
“We expect both the events to be very popular, so I would encourage older residents, their family members or carers to sign up as soon as possible as places are limited.”
