On Sunday 5th May Broomfield hosted a friendly match against Whit Hern Bowls Club. It's always nice to play a good competitive friendly against our friends from Cheshunt. We played 5 triples but unfortunately due to a late cry off we only had 14 players so had to play one as a pair. As always against Whit Hern it was a very pleasant afternoon of bowls which we managed to come out on top by an overall score 88-78. Top rink for Broomfield was Chris Ryan, Gary Godfrey and Andrew Bennett. We look forward to our trip up the A10 to visit Whit Hern later in the season
