Seven weeks ago, Oakley were well beaten by Old Basing in the delayed 2020 Final of the Fuller/Ambler trophy at Loddon Vale. Last night the two Clubs found themselves in opposition again, but this time in the first game of the 2021/22 competition. Both teams showed one change from the previous game but this time it was Oakley which came out on top, with the rink of Steve Devonish, Malcom Grime, Sean Lassman and Ashley Nethercliffe winning 24-13.
