Representatives from Cumbria Community Foundation and the Matson Ground Funders visited Alexander House on Monday, 30 March 2026, to see first-hand the impact of their funding and to learn more about the work being delivered at the service.

The visit provided an opportunity for funders to meet with staff, explore the facilities, and gain a deeper understanding of how Alexander House supports individuals and families within the community. Discussions focused on the positive outcomes being achieved and the importance of continued investment in local services.

During the visit, the funders were shown around the building and heard about recent developments made possible through grant support. Staff shared insights into day-to-day operations, current projects, and future plans aimed at strengthening support for those who rely on Alexander House.

The visit highlighted the value of partnership working and the vital role that organisations such as Cumbria Community Foundation and the Matson Ground Funders play in enabling community services to grow and respond to local needs.
