Please see details below:

My name is Joy, one of the trustees of Gilly's (The Gillian Stevenson Charitable Trust) and I just wanted to let you know that our 2026 grants programme is now open for applications until 30th September.

We're a small family-founded funder that supports community-based charities operating primarily in North Yorkshire that are making a difference to the lives of people of all ages that are facing challenges such as disability, poor mental health, long-term health conditions and social isolation.

We offer grants of up to £5,000 to support one-off development opportunities that will help charities strengthen, develop or grow what they do.

Put simply, if a local charity has identified an idea, opportunity or investment that could help it make an even bigger difference but doesn't currently have the funds to make it happen, that's exactly the type of application we'd love to see!

Funding could support things such as:

  • Equipment and resources
  • Improvements to community facilities
  • Technology or software
  • Expanding activities or services
  • Volunteer development
  • New income-generating opportunities
  • Other initiatives that will leave the charity stronger and more sustainable for the future

We're particularly keen to reach smaller, community-focused and volunteer-led charities that may not always be on the radar of larger funders and we pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable.

If you are able to share this opportunity through your council's networks, newsletters, website, social media channels or with any local charities and community organisations that may be interested, we would be extremely grateful.

For further information and application details, please visit www.gillianstevensontrustuk.org or email me at info@gillianstevensontrustuk.org

Thank you for helping us spread the word and support the amazing work being carried out by charities across North Yorkshire.
