GE Aviation Development Application

The Council understands that GE will shortly be submitting a planning application for part of its site in Hamble. As with all applications, the Parish Council will be a statutory consultee and will consider the application through a public meeting. Residents and stakeholders will have the opportunity to comment and make representations as normal.

The Council has been in discussions with both GE and Folland Cricket Club to secure a new home for the team should the development progress. To that end, the Council has been looking at improvements to College Playing Fields and the Roy Underdown Pavilion and hope that this might ensure Folland's continuation in the village should they be unable to continue to play at their present location.
