Some of the hardest-to-reach places in the UK are eligible for additional funding towards the cost of installing gigabit-capable broadband to their premises when part of a group project.
How do you qualify?
1. Premises must be in rural areas
2. Available broadband speeds must be less than 30 Megabits per second
3. You must be part of a group project (two or more premises)
Businesses can claim up to £2,500 against the cost of connection either individually or as part of a group project. Residents (with businesses) can benefit from the scheme as part of a group project and can claim for a voucher of £500 each. One gigabit is the same as 1,000 megabits - so it’s a big leap forward in connection speeds that could benefit you and your business into the future.

For full details about whether you are eligible for a voucher and to connect you to a full fibre broadband supplier, go to: http://gigabitvoucher.culture.gov.uk
