The shed arrived on site two weeks early and we were eager to start fitting it out but two nanny goats on the farm gave birth to two sets of twins within 24 hours. Phil Perce, Turner Farm Project Manager became goat wrestler as he removed the protective billy to a new paddock. Our shed supplier, Matt Fretwell of Ecosheds, Ripley has been dropping off old sheds at the farm which we recycle or burn on the woodstove. One shed was cut down and handles fitted to house the two goat families. The project saved several hundred pounds, saved wood from going to landfill and found a new life for an old shed. As other animals arrive we shall be making horse and donkey shelters.
