Golden Shield FC V Fleckney Village CC Charity Football Match
On Sunday 2nd January 2023, We were very pleased to host a very successful Charity Football match between the Golden Shield and Fleckney Village Cricket Club, raising funds to support LOROS and the Cricket Club.
In a tightly contested and entertaining game between the two sides, it was to be the Golden Shield who battled to a 4 -2 victory. The game was played in a great spirit and a great day was had by all, including a hearty meal back at the Golden Shield after the game!
The game raised over £700 in what was a fantastic effort by everyone involved from the Cricket Club and the Pub, congratulations to all!
