Sunday 20 September saw another gorgeous afternoon of bowls with glorious weather.

Before the games started, we paused and remembered our beloved friend, Tim Goodall, who passed away on Saturday. Tim was an ideal captain for the weekend friendly matches. His outlook on life was always positive and enthusiastic, and he brought a smile to everyone's faces. We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat and their sons.

There were three games of triples in the afternoon and the "scores on the doors" were :

Roger v Roy - 19-17

Pete v Mal - 16-15

Brian v Bob - 17-14

All tight games played in the right spirit.

Welcome to Sue Hawksworth who made her debut on the "carpet".

And finally, the triples league games start at 17.45 on Tuesday 22 September
