On Friday afternoon, the Malmesbury took advantage of playing on their home turf (well home mat) and won their T&B match against Chippenham Park. The weather was delightful with lovely clear blue skies. The match was played with the customary good spirits with our friends from south of the M4.

The scores on the doors were

  • Pete 28-9
  • Malc 20-12
  • Albert 16-12
  • Arthur 17-23

Overall, Malmesbury won by 81 shots to 59, so 12 points to 2.

It was nice to see Colin Oliver back on the green and Mark Clark making his first appearance in a match. Thank you to Captain Roger for organizing the day and ensuring everything ran to plan.
