Goodbye to our Lengthsman

It is with a heavy heart that the Parish Council says goodbye to its Lengthsman, Mike Dolan, who has been looking after the village since December 2022. Mike has shown endless dedication to cleaning and maintaining the village, working in all weathers to clear paths, empty bins, and keep the village clean and tidy. Mike will be missed by all of the Councillors, and by residents of the village who have seen him out and about throughout the years.

The Parish Council have been recruiting for a new Lengthsman and a replacement starts very soon.

The Parish Council wishes to thank Mike for his service and wish him all the best for his retirement.
