Grammar School update October 2026

The Parish Council has contacted Cheshire East to inform them of recent works being carried out at the property and has received the following communication:

The head of Planning enforcement visited the site again yesterday and is aware of the works taking place around the exterior of the building. These are not in breach of the Listed Building Temporary Stop Notice.

The head of Planning carried out a full inspection of the interior of the building and spoke with the owner on site. At no point did he elaborate on what his intentions are regarding the future use of the building. However, the planning officer will be having further contact with him and his architect.

The site will be kept under review.
