Grants to Community Groups
Clun Town Council with Chapel Lawn
Find out more about this community in:
Clun Town Council is willing to consider giving grants to local organisations that contribute to the well-being and life of the community. The council's annual grants budget is small and the council cannot always award all the grants that it would wish to. However, it is always worth applying if you believe that your organisation has a really good case to make; and all applications will be given serious consideration. Details of how to apply will be found here.
Some of the grants that have recently been given by the council include:
-
St George's Parochial Church Council: an award towards the establishment of a community library
-
Clun Memorial Hall: an award towards the costs of resurtacing the pathway from Enfield Street to the hall
-
Clun Young Farmers: an award towards the costs of purchasing YFC rugby shirts for new members
-
Clun Bowling Club: an award towards the costs of purchasing a replacement green spiker
-
Clun Parish Paths Parnership: an award towards the costs of purchasing roundels with contact details for reporting problems with footpaths
