On Monday, 19 July, Malmesbury Ladies had a convincing win at home against Wotton-under-Edge. This was their penultimate game of the truncated Stroud Valleys' Ladies Triples League season.

The scores on the doors were

Malmesbury 19 Wotton-under-Edge 14
Malmesbury 26 Wotton-under-Edge 7

Overall, Malmesbury Ladies won by 45-21 shots and 8-0 on points. They are now top of the league with 24 points with the final game away at Cam on 9 August. Cam has one game in hand, so it could be a tight finish for our ladies.

It is definitely a season of home and away for the ladies with good wins on our home carpet and coping with grass when away.
