Would you like to have a say in the future format and content of our Hamble Parish Council community newsletter/magazine?

As a bit of background…

In June 2020, we introduced a new-look Hamble Parish Council newsletter which moved away from the traditional magazine format (32-pages A5), and instead focused on Parish Council updates, community news stories and local events in a shorter 8-page A4 newsletter.

The reasons we changed format included: expediency in content creation at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, prioritising community news rather than advertising, occasionally having a shortage of advertisers to fill all the advertising space, and the cost to produce and print a longer magazine.

Now that we have published 10 editions of the ‘new-look 8-page’ newsletter, we are very keen to hear your views as Hamble residents. We want to understand…

  • How do you like to access Parish Council news and community information?
  • What format should this take? Magazine, newsletter, or some other format?

Share your thoughts with us by filling in this survey before 30 November - we want to hear from as many Hamble residents as possible!
