Phil Sanders recently played Charlie Bailey of Fareham Bowling Club in the County Area Singles Final. Phil successfully got through five rounds, two of which were played on artificial surface, to reach the final. He made an excellent start to his game but eventually Charlie pulled out all the stops and beat Phil 21-15. It was a tremendous effort on Phil's part and he's proud to have got so far in this competition. Well done, Phil!
