Hampshire Constabulary have put in place 2 Section 34 ASBCP dispersal orders in Hamble, covering 2 periods over the next 4 days, as part of a clampdown on anti-social behaviour. The date and times the orders cover are Thursday 26th July 13:30 – until Friday 27th July 21:30 and Saturday 28th July 10:00 until Sunday 29th July 21:30. Click on this link for a map of the area the dispersal power applies to.

The order is in response to continued reports of anti-social behaviour by large groups of young people across Hamble’s waterfront areas.

It will give Police Officers and PCSOs the power to disperse people involved in anti-social behaviour out of the Hamble area, and will prevent them from returning for up to 48 hours.

Those under 16 will be taken be to their home address, and follow-up work will be done with parents.

The order also gives officers the power to seize bicycles or anything else used in the commission of anti-social behaviour.

Hampshire Policy are committed to working with partners to drive out ASB form the Hamble area. Anyone who witnessed ASB is encouraged to report to 101.
