Each year, we produce a Local Account to look back on the achievements, improvements and challenges in adult social care in Kent. In our last edition, we highlighted the hard work of our teams and the resilience of our partners and communities, renewing our commitment to celebrating diversity and equality in Adult Social Care and encouraging involvement in shaping our services.

We’ve also reported on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement on not only the people who draw on care and support, but also the impact on our staff.
This year, we want to work with you to shape the Local Account for 2022 together.
If you could take some time to look through the previous Local account for adult social care and the Local account for adult social care (easy read) and provide some feedback, that would be great.

Please get involved via jasmine.knight@kent.gov.uk and share your thoughts and feedback to help shape our eleventh edition of the Local Account for Adult Social Care.

Kent and Medway Wheelchair Service User Group

Are you a wheelchair user, or a carer or family member of a person who uses a wheelchair? Would you like to get involved in helping to develop and deliver better services?

This group is for all wheelchair users across Kent and Medway (and their carers or family members), enabling you to have your say on what you feel is working and what needs improvement.

Please contact Susan Scriven at susan.scriven@rosscare.co.uk to find out more and get involved.

Please note that these are ongoing engagement opportunities and are not part of a formal consultation.
