WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET ULTRAFAST FIBRE BROADBAND.

There’s an opportunity to bring Full Fibre Broadband (otherwise known as Fibre to the Premises or FTTP) to properties in the Kingsbridge area (INCLUDING WEST ALVINGTON), in partnership with Openreach, using government funding.
Eligible residents qualify for up to £1,500 in vouchers and small businesses up to £3,000*.
This will fund the cost of the fibre infrastructure build.
Openreach has committed to build a Full Fibre network in the Kingsbridge exchange area. We’ll try to get as far as we can, but we won’t be able to build to all premises in the exchange unless the community can come together using government vouchers available through the Rural Gigabit Voucher scheme.
More information here: www.gigabitvoucher.culture.gov.uk
Openreach is one of the government’s registered network build suppliers and we’ve helped hundreds of local communities across the UK to get reliable, high-speed broadband. This means families can access online services, video call, work from home, stream HD TV and game online – all at the same time. Full Fibre Broadband, otherwise known as Fibre to the Premises, can deliver fantastic benefits for homes and businesses within your community too.

You can help by pledging your voucher and encouraging others to do the same

Step 1

Go to www.openreach.co.uk/kingsbridgeletter to check if you can get funding. You’ll need to be in an eligible postcode and currently have broadband speeds of less than 100mbps.
(Once you enter your postcode and confirm that you are not a robot by following the online Captcha instructions, don’t forget to click on the search icon – it looks like a magnifying glass!)

Step 2

If you’re eligible, pledge your voucher** to Openreach. This will help to secure Full Fibre Broadband for your community.

Step 3

Encourage your friends and neighbours to do the same.

Step 4

Once we’ve received enough pledges we’ll be in touch with more details about getting started. So don’t miss out!
