HELPING HANDS is the name of a new scheme put together by the residents' association committee. It's a team of volunteers (coordinated by Lynda Gould) and the simple aim is to help those who, for whatever reason, need a helping hand.

We're pleased to say the team were out on Saturday for their first assignment - helping one of our residents whose disabilities prevent her from keeping her garden looking nice.

Lynda, Laurie, Paul, Julie and Dixie soon had the Dunton-jungle looking ship-shape (helped on by mugs of tea and cake provided by the resident who was over the moon with the service).

Well done to everyone involved. Great community spirit.
