Hide&Seek Festival 2023

How To Report Disturbances

Hide&Seek Festival takes place this Saturday 1st July at Capesthorne Hall, from 11am to 11pm.

There will be intermittent sound checks, on Friday 30th June between 3pm to 8pm – this is done to configure the sound systems and set volume limits which will be maintained throughout the live event.

We are writing to inform you of the process for raising any concerns with our Event Management Team, during the period of the festival.

Should you wish to make a noise complaint, please feel free to contact our dedicated helpline on 07307475116.

We are also able to accept written communications to a dedicated email inbox, which is monitored by Event Control and Production personnel – support@hideandseekfestival.co.uk

Hide&Seek Festival is operated by leading industry organisations. The independent noise management contractor appointed for this event, is Acoustic and Engineering Consultants Ltd (AEC). They are accredited by the Institute of Acoustics and experienced in the supervision of noise procedures at UK festivals.

Decibel meter readings will be taken on a regular basis, to monitor the noise levels from the event, over 15 minute intervals both within the site and its surrounding environs. This is to assess the level of sound emanating from stages, to ensure that levels are kept within the licence conditions permitted for the event. All measurements are logged and are available for inspection by authorities.

Should sound levels exceed the permitted noise limits, the Noise Management Consultant will immediately radio, or call through to the Production Manager to discuss alterations to volume or other techniques, to bring sound back within permissible limits.

Complaints

If a complaint is received, we will work to quickly respond with open and supportive communication. We offer the opportunity for our noise management personnel to come out to your property to take a decibel reading where possible, to ensure the event licence conditions are being complied with.

We will at all times, take necessary action where it needed to ensure that concerns are heard, properly assessed and acted upon, within reason.

Please feel free to contact us at any time during the period of the event – and we thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
