Hope Bagot Fete

Hope Bagot Dog Show and Village Fete, held on Sunday 26th May, was a huge success and well attended. The new gazebos proved so much easier to erect and dismantle than the old market stalls which have been braised down to make effective supports for the table top boards. There was a great turnout for the dog show and both the plant stall (thanks for your help Kathy - oh and Rosie and Jim) and refreshments in our retro village hall did a roaring trade and the weather was kind to us - all in all a great effort by those wonderful volunteers and thanks to everyone who supported the event and particular thanks to Linda and her family for managing the dog show and to all those who prepared food for and helped out in the village hall, as well as the cake stall, games, tombola and raffle.
