Works are scheduled to commence on the 18th September 2023. The works start with the abandonment of the well which will take up to 4 weeks.

Following this, all the stone will be removed from site in trucks. In terms of traffic movements, this will equate to a maximum of 30 trucks per day. The trucks will only turn right out of site and not travel through Misson village. This process will take approximately 11 weeks.

Normal working hours will be adhered to for both the abandonment and site restoration as per our planning conditions.

The end stop date for completion of the restoration is 31 January 2024.
