IMPORTANT ADVICE ABOUT THE CURRENT CONDITION OF THE GREEN FROM ANDY ENNIS

Opening day is the 9th as you all know.

I have been advised by the Groundcare team that there is still a little work to do to get the green to the standard we all want.

The green has been treated for moss but this needs to be stripped out and fertilised etc.

The warm/wet/cold/windy conditions we have had of late haven't helped in the preparation as you will appreciate.

So just to advise that over the next week or so work will be carried out to remedy this and bring the length down from its current height of c7. 5mm.

So to let you know it might be heavy and a bit slow, for the 1st couple of weeks (typical at this time of year) while we are just doing role ups.
