It is with deep sadness that we inform members of the passing of Steve Hawkes.

Steve was a longstanding member of the club, a remarkably good player on the green, and a great character off it. His warmth, wit, and good humour made him a much-loved figure across the entire club, and he will be sadly missed by his many friends here. Although he played less in recent years he was always there to support the A team.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with his wife, Val, and his friends during this difficult time.
