Just because it's the winter you can't stop bowling and so we played two friendly indoor games, the first against Tiverton (Park) Bowling Club and the second against Mid Devon Indoor Bowling Club.
Tiverton proved to be very challenging and although a good time was had by all at the end of the day we were well beaten.
Well done to Bob Pulsford and his rink for your win.
However Tony Sykes, Dennis Blackwell and Ken Berry were not so lucky all losing to Tiverton.
Moving on to MDIBC Gill Callaghan's rink won well and Bob French's rink managed a draw, pulling back 12 shots on the last 3 ends.
This time Bob Pulsford was not so lucky losing by just 1 shot, finally Tony Sykes rink lost by 3 shots.
Despite the scores we all enjoyed ourselves.
And to think it's only 6 weeks till the green opens at West Exe Recreation Ground, roll on the summer.
