    Aldworth Road in the Parishes of Aldworth & Compton will be closed:
    Please Note: Due to complications during previous works, Openreach contractors need to close the following road so as to consolidate the existing ductwork, therefore Aldworth Road in the Parishes of Aldworth & Compton will be closed from the 27th to 31st January 2020, the extent of which, will be from the junction of Coombe Road to Unnamed road from Aldworth Road to Uplands (near Pibworth Farm).
    The closure will be in place during the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm each day, this is hoped to allow ease of access to those getting to & from The Downs and Compton schools.
    The main diversion route (some locals may choose to use narrower lanes) will be via School Rd, High St, Ilsley Rd, Unnamed Rd From Ilsley Rd to Newbury Hill, Water St, & Haw Lane (B4009) and vice versa.
    Blue Light access will be permitted at all times along with resident access.
