INTERNAL FRIENDLY MATCHES
A couple of our members Danny and Kim decided to organise some internal fun games throughout the season to help bolster our funds. The first match was held on Sunday 19th April. The format was Australian Pairs, a good way to get everyone playing each other.
It was wonderful to see so many involved the weather was kind and there was a great atmosphere throughout the day. Most importantly everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves which is what these events are all about.
Thanks to everyone's support we raised £270.80 for the Club and £20 for breast cancer charity. This is a great achievement and will be to the benefit of us all.
A big thank you to 'Danny&Co' who enabled the day to be set up and run so smoothly.
A big thank you for Judy for running the bar Judy, Janet and Brenda for setting out the bring and share food for us which was much appreciated
