INVESTMENT FOR THE LONG TERM – OKUMA U4000
In April RET will receive their first Okuma machine for over 30 years – back to the future! We have worked with NCMT machine tools for 12 months to specify a machine that would meet our needs – and more importantly those of our Customers.
A 5 year contract with a major aerospace customer for military equipment has driven a long-term development programme in gear skiving – a technology new to RET and which resulted in this high-specification machine being selected for this project.
We are taking delivery in April and will let our Customers know when it is up and running. In the meantime, the machine can be seen in action by clicking on this YouTube link.
