The season well underway and the team /Club is just about holding its own. Some good results particularly twin victories over Porchester last week.

Again we are struggling to make up numbers .With holidays illness and injuries the burden has fallen on the ever present .Special mention to those players who stepped in although not at their best. Obviously the question will arise as to whether the club can maintain its league and cup programme unless of course we have more success in recuitment ,hardly likely at coro park.

We have been in corrospondense with parkes and liesure about the state of the green the subsiding area in particular. For those who dont know a laser survey was carried out ,we are yet to be shown the results.

For those using the green our concern would be whether the green would be playable if major works was carried:Don,t hold your breath it would probably take an attendant to drop into a sink hole to force action and that would probably be closing the green .

As a league club with commitments we will seek an answer and assurances about the future of the green.

I don,t mind this article being coppied and displayed on the pavilion board ,as before.
