The South Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Joint Community Safety Department are holding a Community Open Day at the Lifewise Centre for individuals, families and groups to attend.

Emergency service vehicles will be present with demonstrations and showing what equipment they use in an emergency.

There will also be a variety of community stalls providing information and advice, as well as both services promoting their cadet programmes and volunteer opportunities.

There will be lots of fun and family friendly activities to get involved in, whilst also meeting some of the Community Safety team and asking any questions you have around keeping you and your family safe, whether that be from fire or the internet.

The event is also open to community groups, youth groups, adult groups to view our life like set and look at the potential of booking the centre for your own personal safety event.

You can find the Lifewise Centre at Kea Park Close, Hellaby Industrial Estate, Rotherham S66 8LB and the event will run from 10 am – 3pm.

If you would like to have a free community stall at this event (places are limited) contact Lifewise.booking@southyorks.pnn.police.uk
