Congratulations to Janie Vickers who yesterday at Alton BC qualified to represent the Northern Area in the County Quarter Finals of the Two Wood Singles. Wins over Sheila Andrews of Farnborough and Caroline Goodeve of Alton Social saw Janie having to play reigning champion Hazel Marke of Alton Social for one of the two coveted Northern area places at Southampton and it was Janie who came out on top. Janie will now play the Quarter Final on July 10th at Banister Park where she will be joined by Annie Carter of Alton Social who qualified through the other half of the draw.
