Joy To The World

Go out and shine your lights was the message delivered by the minister, the Rev. Ian Pruden, at the Methodist Chapel's traditional Christingle Service.

Always a lovely service, the joyful celebration of Christingle was made even more special this year as it took place in the freshly decorated and newly floored Chapel, now fully open again for services after the recent 18 month redevelopment project. The only outstanding job still to done in the hall itself is the installation of new doors, the space for which is currently covered by large boards.

Members of the congregation had decorated and brought with them their own Christingles.

After the service, another Christmas tradition, mince pies, together with tea and coffee, were served.
