A Solihull Municipal rink won the Jubilee Trophy, one of the Birmingham Bowling Association's team competitions, at Handsworth Wood on Sunday 5th June. The Muni Four of Chris Wright, John Hanmore, Clive Burbage and Bryan Jones gained the most points of the eight competing teams by winning 6-2 against Handsworth Wood; a decisive 9-2 against Sherwood Park; and finally completing the clean sweep playing Kings Heath, coming away with a 9-4 win to finish on 32 points. West Midlands Police and Sherwood Park were tied in second with 24 points, with Tamworth one point further behind.

This was the second victory in three years for the Muni, following their success in 2014, when Clive and Bryan also featured.
